Hilary caught the salsa bug in Italy whilst staying there as a student, then, on returning to England in 1994 took salsa dance classes in the UK then in Spain before coming to Ireland in 1999 where she set up her own salsa classes.

Hilary has been teaching salsa in Dublin since 1999 and zumba since 2010.

Qualifications

2003 - Qualified with the NCEHS (National Centre for Execrise and Health Studies) as a fitness instructor
2008 - Qualified as a dance teacher with the UKA
2010 - Qualified as a zumba instructor
2010 - Registerd with the Zumba Instructor Network
2011 - Completed Zumba Basics 2 training
2011 - Qualified as a Zumba Toning Instructor

Hilary has won two awards for the quality of her teaching skills this year at the Irish Salsa Awards:

- Best regional teacher (Leinster)
- Best national salsa teacher

She also won the award for best salsa club promoter.

Experience
1. Extensive salsa teaching experience since 1999; full time since 2003.
2. Guest teacher invited to return many times to many national congresses including Salsa School, Maynooth and Cork Salsa Bonanza
3. International congresses include London Latinfest, Great British salsa Experience, Manchester and Mambocity 5* Salsa Congress, London.
