Social Night for a Large Corporation
The clients arrived straight from work at around 6:30pm where they were
served 'drinks and salsa-themed' finger food in the form of tapas. People
were encouraged to come up and dance, to be shown some simple steps to
start off. The emphasis was on having fun and mingling, as opposed to
dance technique. Here's what the organiser of the event said about the
class: "As part of our quarterly corporate get together – we spent
an evening learning salsa with Hilary. It was energetic, fun and a great
way to get to know people. I would definitely recommended it", Eimear,

Team-Building for Social Workers
Because of the highly social nature of a salsa class it is ideal for team-building
activities. Danzon was brought in to do an hour's fun-class for a group
of social workers as part of their 'mental health' day. It was an uproarious
class with prizes for the best couples. Here's what the organiser said
about the class:"Thanks for a great afternoon last Thursday. The
team had a great time: fun, energetic and interactive, a great team building

Entertainment for a Corporate Annual Dinner
The guest list was for several thousand, seated in a banqueting hall in
a large hotel in Galway. Once the dinner had finished, four Danzon dancers
came to the floor to give several perfomance peices and a light-hearted
class to those who wished to join in, followed by DJing popular Latin
music til the regular DJ took over half way through the evening.
